“At Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific, there is always a constant flow of communication and openness between top management and the employees. Not only are they very approachable, by communicating directly, as employees, we are also able to better understand the business goals that they have envisioned for the company.”

Upon attaining my university degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I joined Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific in 2007 under the Marketing and Engineering Department and after gaining a few years of working experience, I was then transferred to the Factory Automation Sales Department as an Assistant Sales Manager. As part of my career progression, I was progressively promoted to become a Regional Sales Manager. After serving 11 years at Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific, I decided to challenge myself for a start-up opportunity in the building materials sector. After almost 2 years of my tenure in that company, I decided to re-join Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific because it was a positive work environment, with work cohesiveness, supportive superiors and team members. These factors influenced my decision significantly coupled with the similar role opening back then. Today, I am grateful that Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific embraced my return positively and I believe that I can contribute and expand our regional sales network to achieve greater heights!

In my current role, I am responsible to deal with customers’ enquiries and sometimes have to beat the odd working timings due to customers’ coming from various country zones. Thankfully, I am still able to maintain a fair amount of work-life balance through proper time management; which I believe is important while enjoying your job to the fullest.

At Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific, there are good initiatives and policies put in place to promote a healthy social life. ‘Blue Sky Friday’ for instance, allows us to end work earlier than usual on Fridays. Through the Flexi-work arrangements, employees also have the option to start work earlier or later depending on our preference without compromising on our work commitments.

At Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific, there is always a constant flow of communication and openness between top management and the employees. Not only are they very approachable, by communicating directly, as employees, we are also able to better understand the business goals that they have envisioned for the company.
